Amy Weber, LCSW

Amy has over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families, both as a clinician and as an administrator. She is currently in private practice full-time.  In addition to conducting individual and group therapy sessions, Amy also provides consultation and training to schools and agencies throughout New York City.  Amy is co-founder of Speak, Learn, and Play.


Amy Weber is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State. She has a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree in drama and psychology and a Master of Social Work degree from New York University. Additionally, Amy has post-graduate certificates in Infant - Parent Psychotherapy from the Institute for Infants, Children, and Families at the Jewish Board for Families' and Children's Services and Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy from the William Alanson White Institute. Amy has further training in Greenspan's DIR/Floortime model,  and is presently  pursuing certifications in Ross Greene's Collaborative Proactive Solutions model as well as Conscious Parent Coaching through the Jai Institute.


Amy moved to Brooklyn in 1995, and currently lives in Windsor Terrace. When she is not working, she enjoys playing in Prospect Park, cooking, reading, quilting, traveling, and gardening.
